-A promotion for a song - the full song with all content.
-An advert for the product/band or song.
-Band Members are shown along with a storyline (narrative), performance is included (look as if it is live) on a made up set (mise-en-scene)

-Generates awareness
-Link from what you see and lyrics, connections the song
-Giving the band an identity (genre)
